Where Historic Elegance Meets Modern Luxury
Originally built as an officers’ barracks and mess hall, The Inn is full of character and history and has always been fit for royalty. Two years prior to her coronation in 1951, a young Princess Elizabeth stayed here with Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. The suite where they stayed has been renamed to honour the occasion.
While there is still history around every corner, the building has been renovated and updated to ensure a modern, classic feel while maintaining the beauty and elegance of days past.

The QEII provides luxury and history together as the finest room at The Inn, perfect for a stay of great importance and making unforgettable memories. Named after Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth. Both Princess Elizabeth and HRH Prince Phillip stayed in the suite on their visit to The Barracks, just two years before her royal coronation. This 622 sq. ft. suite is a luxurious living space complete with a sitting room, 65-inch TV, wet bar, mini fridge, king size bed, stand-alone shower and a beautiful claw foot tub.
Our standard rooms have been individually decorated and designed with your next stay in mind. They have been curated for your comfort, and come fully furnished with a
wardrobe, 22” inch cable TV, air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower and vanity. Perfect for an individual or couple on their next overnight getaway. Our standard rooms range in size from 149 sq. ft. to 187 sq. ft. with space for up to 3 guests and feature either one double bed, one queen bed, or a double bed plus a twin.
Our Premium Suites were individually designed with modern emphasis, and are more spacious than a standard room. Each suite has different amenities to offer. All suites are furnished with a seating area, wardrobe, TV and ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower, vanity and plush bathrobe. Perfect for a weekend stay! Premium suites range in size from 200 sq. ft. to 214 sq. ft. and are furnished with either a queen or a king-sized bed. Our premium Fireplace Suite features the original fireplace, a luxurious queen bed, and a 55-inch TV.
