Our Team
The Inn on Officers’ Garden is as much about people as it is about place. Behind every glass poured and every plate served is a team of professionals who bring expertise, warmth, and character to the historic walls of the Inn.
A world of experience, dedicated to every guest.
Hospitality has taken Ranjith from Singapore to Dubai to the Rockies, and now to Calgary. Over two decades, he has guided teams at world-class properties including Le Royal Méridien, Mövenpick Jumeirah, Four Points by Sheraton, The Westin, Wyndham, and Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. At the Inn, his leadership is defined by balance; tradition with innovation, strategy with warmth, ensuring that every guest feels both cared for and at home.
Classic French training, crafted for today’s palate.
A Red Seal Chef and SAIT graduate, Richard has spent over two decades mastering French and European cuisine. At the Inn, his menus don’t only revisit tradition; they reinvent it. Think French techniques with today’s palate in mind: bold flavours, lighter touches, and thoughtful options for health-conscious diners. Guests planning events are invited to collaborate with Richard, who delights in tailoring menus that are every bit as personal as they are unforgettable.
From Cranbrook roots to curated culinary journeys.
Raised in a chef’s household in Cranbrook, Lucas grew up with a fondness for game meats and pork and a curiosity for flavour that never left him. His foundation in French fine dining fuels a creative approach in the kitchen, where classic technique meets playful invention. Alongside Sommelier Bobby Sahoo, Lucas brings monthly themed dinners to life, immersive evenings where food and wine aren’t just paired, but staged in perfect harmony.
A sommelier with a storyteller’s touch.
Bobby’s love of wine began when he was 19 and grew into a true calling in his 30s. His hospitality career has taken him across Europe and Canada, where he held leadership roles before joining the Inn at its very beginning. Since then, he has built an acclaimed wine program and hosts the Inn’s highly sought-after Saturday Wine Dinners, pairing rare bottles with unforgettable evenings.
Hospitality meets harmony.
